Puerto Madryn
This city is situated on the clear waters of Golfo Nuevo and is the doorway to Península Valdés.
It has a 4* hotel and several 2* and 3* hotels. It recieves tourists all year round both for fauna and sea-fauna watching and adventure activities. The city becomes a seaside resort in Summer when temperatures are good enough to make the beaches enjoyable. Our local Airport gets daily flights from Buenos Aires and this gives the visitor the possibility of making flight-connections to El Calafate and Ushuaia.
Our port gains touristic relevance year after year by getting cruises from the most prominent companies around the world.

Gaiman
Gaiman shows a mixture of culture and history of its own. It si placed at 18 km from (the city of) Trelew and at 80 km from (the city of) Puerto Madryn. Gaiman, as well as Trelew, is siutuated in the Valley of the Chubut River and, for this reason, it can also be thought of as an oasis in the large dry ecosystem of the Northwest of Chubut. It is a small village with less than 10.000 inhabitants who work mainly in farming activities. Gaiman’s main attraction stands on both its high number of typical Welsh buildings and the historic and cultural events that take place in the village.
